Tip of the Day — April 15

If your azaleas need pruning, do it as soon as they finish blooming. Traditional azaleas bloom on growth from the year before so you’ll cut off next year’s flowers if you wait to take care of this chore. Encore azaleas set buds repeatedly so pruning now will give them time to get ready for late summer/fall bloom.
