Tip of the Day — Nov. 6

Want to save your ornamental sweet potato vines over the winter without treating them like houseplants? Dig the tubers before the first frost, let them air dry a few hours, brush off the dirt and store them in paper bags in a cool, dark place. Check periodically and toss any that start to mold. Plant them again after danger of frost is over next spring.
