Tip of the Day — Dec. 26

If annual winter weeds are sprouting in your veggie and flower gardens, now is a good time to tackle them by either hand pulling or hoeing. Eliminating them while they’re young will make it easier to prepare beds for spring planting. Weeds that grow from bulbs or rhizomes will have to be dug out.
